sorry the boys got hurt, but what happened was their fault, and their parents fault, no one elses. they were to young to ride the atv, they were on a public road illeagley, they were going to fast.

I am so proud of my fellow citizens for making the right decision in this case! I hate that these young men got hurt, but if they had not been breaking the law, it would not have happened to begin with. Not only do they not deserve any compensation, they should be written a ticket for: (1) driving an ATV on a public roadway and (2) operating an ATV under the age of 16. Don't get me wrong, I know plenty of kids, under the age of 16, who drive a 4-wheeler around. But, they don't go around suing everyone when they get hurt. The parents are the ONLY people responsible here. The plaintiffs should have to pay any fees incurred by the county for this trial!!! Let's really make a point and show folks that you can't just go around suing whenever you please.

Score one for Lawrence County! Thank you jurors for your service and common sense!

Great work Jurors of Lawrence County. You should not be rewarded when you break the LAW.

the jury was right. the boys were breaking the law when they got hurt. it is time that people should take responsibility for there own actions. in this law suit they were looking for easy money. the parents are just as responsibile as the boys by letting them ride on the road.
