Not just a nuisance: Viruses get nasty
PCs, smartphones targets of evolving forms of hacking
By Ben Montgomery
When Danita Miller’s husband Quincy came home from a tour of duty in Iraq, he brought a computer virus with him on their laptop. “We couldn’t even get it to turn on,” she said. Miller, … More »

I'm not surprised that the DD only talked to ONE repair store here when there are two others in the city! I believe that the reporter got lazy and went to the one closest to the road and didn't want to go into the other two for some bogus reason! Come on Mr. Montgomery, be objective when speaking to locally owned businesses and think of those who have been in business for more than a few months!

stay off those porn sites and you won't get a virus! (I will cut him some slack considering)

Blake, I'm aware of the ones that do computer repair and how long they've been in business in Decatur. You need to check what they exactly do! I'm just saying that Valley Computers and Avanti have been in business here in Decatur for about 20 years! As for my "personal information" that's really none of your business! I've lived in Decatur for over 35 years, worked here since I was 15 and now own a store here for the past 10. What I'm saying about this article is that the idiot that wrote it should have done HIS homework and gone to a store that repairs computers and ONLY computers! If you'd like to talk to the managers of Avanti or Valley Computers about this I'm sure they'd be more than happy to discuss this with you!

I can vouch for Avanti. Dawn and staff know their stuff.
