The Falcons would get the region’s top playoff seed with a win coupled with an Austin win against Bob Jones. ... Sparkman was eliminated from playoff contention with a 35-7 loss to Decatur last week. ... Florence LBs Dee Smith and Irving Adams had three sacks each in last week’s 25-10 win over Austin. ... QB Kendrick Doss had another strong performance with 160 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 17 carries. He has rushed for a combined 351 yards and six touchdowns in the last three games.
