Remember when they originally planned on moving into the new school in between semesters? I know that I am not the only person that thought the idea to change schools halfway through the school year was dumb. Then when they were not going to meet that deadline they talked about moving into the school halfway through the second semester, and again I know many that thought that was even dumber than the original plan. How about they just make sure the school is built right instead of rushing it, then let the new school year be the time for its official opening? Make too much sense?
Seems to make sense to you because you don't have all of the facts concerning the situation. The old high school needs many repairs before it can be used for the 7th and 8th grade in August. Repairs take time, more time than the summer will allow. Therefore, high school students need to be out of the old school and into the new one before the end of the current school year. Now that makes sense, doesn't it?
