The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce chose Circuit judges Sherrie Paler and Glenn Thompson as recipients of its Prosperity Political Action Committee endorsements.
Chamber Executive Director John Seymour said the 10-member board of directors selected the two Democratic judges because of their nearly 18 years of experience on the bench.
Paler faces Republican Jennifer Howell and Thompson’s GOP opponent is Buddie “Buzz” Brown in the Nov. 6 General Election. The Chamber also endorsed Republican Chris Priest for circuit clerk in the General Election. Priest’s Democratic opponent is Martin Steelmon.
