There was NOT only one person for the idea! Many at the meeting at Compass were "for" combining schools, it was just not appropriate for every one of those people to say that specifically. That was not the structure of the meeting. Combining schools is to MANY the ONLY answer. It doesn't need to be hinted to by the Daily that only one person out of 75 is for one school, because that is just NOT accurate!

Probably no one wanted to be seen agreeing with Suzie Wiley. If poverty is such a big issue, tell the poor people to get jobs.

wow, william, what a great answer! you must be a freakin genius to come up with that overly simplistic, head up your own butt, republicanized answer!

tell you what. lose everything you have. get a crippling drug or alcohol addiction, or a mental illness, along with the almost always along with that criminal record. be looked down on every day, talked about like trash like you just did, til you yourself believe it all and think there is no hope.

THEN, and only then, white man, go and try to get a job. and tell others the same, if its that easy.

i freakin cant stand morons like you.

How do you know he is white James?

Because James is prejudiced. Let's try for some personal responsibility here. Everyone wants to blame someone/something for their problems. These kinds of people want someone else to take care of them and I don't just mean their needs but also their "wants." I for one am tired of it.

So James, you be saying that as long as I don't become a crackhead and commit crimes, I won't be poor. Cool. Well, po' folk, who chose to commit that crime and do those drugs? If that is why some fool is poor, they had it coming.

William, your mindet is why Marie Antoinette was beheaded- the American version. 'Tell the impoverished to get jobs. And whn the bread runs out, let them eat cake.'

And I'm not prejudiced. I AM white. I can just read a typical middle class white American response by now and know.

"MORE OPTIONS FOR BLACK KIDS" WTF IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN???? ANYBODY, GIVE ME ONE OPTION WHITE KIDS HAVE THAT BLACK KIDS DONT...?????? THATS THE BIGGEST CROCK OF SHIT IVE EVER HEARD. THATS WHY NOONE CAN GET PAST RACISM. IF YOU DONT FEEL YOUR RACE IS TREATED EQUAL BY NOW,....LEAVE. GET THE FU(% OVER IT ALREADY.
