Let's see... You get so drunk you pass out in a bar. Along comes another drunk and does something drunken. Now you are surprised and want 'justice'? Sounds to me like you should both be fined and released for public drunkenness and stupidity!

As disgusting as this whole episode is, where is the coverage and outrage concerning the lsu fan actually assaulting an Alabama fan and breaking his jaw? The difference, it seems to me, is that we don't have a video to go 'viral' showing the truly violent attack. We do have a man in Alabama with his jaw wired shut for six weeks; yet, we get two front page articles in the Daily reporting the Krystal on Bourbon Street incident.

Unless someone in New Orleans knows the identity of this man, I doubt very seriously that anyone from Alabama would identify him. Just saying...

Such "classy" Bama fans.....................just saying.................

Calhoun, when a person makes a remark to an opposing fan like " well at least the sec finally lost" then he's asking for trouble.

Question - When a woman is raped, she has come come forward and press charges or the person goes free. Why in this case can they prosecute (when they find him) without anyone pressing charges??? Is getting a "drunken rub on the face" worse than a violent rape??? Oh and Donna - If the person is a student they WILL find out who he is. If he is NOT a student it will be harder, but someone will report him.

they can't prosecute him without someone pressing charges. they've already said that. but the cops can still search for him and hope he's dumb enough to "admit" he did it. .

.

I really doubt this LSU fan wants to press charges. It' bad enough that this happened to a drunk LSU fan you can't see his face. but then if he presses charges, his face and name will be all over ALL THE PAPERS. Does he really want that and to be known as the LSU "Teabagger"? I doubt it.

So if someone commits a rape and there's video proof, then no wrong was done unless she comes forward? For goodness sake I hope Grace never has to sit on any jury

Let's face it..... all sports have fans that are stupid and "VERY" capable of doing this same action (and proabably has - just not caught). Yes, this act was a rude, crude and socialbly unattracted act, but what do you expect in a City like New Orleans? This is the character of the city..... I have been there many times and witness things much worse than this!

I would not say that this is a "typical" fan at Bama or any other college/university in this country! This is just a "stupid" drunk person!
