Why does the Sheriff use the Celebration arena when the department has a very nice rodeo ground facility in Hartselle? Does she pay rent to the celebration arena?
Sheriff Franklin started bring the rodeo to the arena because of weather concerns. Sincce that time, the rodeo has tripled in size. This year the Special Needs Rodeo is expecting almost 1900 kids and adults. And as all events held at the MCCA, there are cost associated. The Sheriffs Dept. pays an agreeded upon amount just as ALL other event promoters do. The cost is covered thru money raised and contributed from people and orginaziations in Morgan Co. Why don't you come and volenteer for the Special Needs Rodeo, Thor???
