John Owens ran for 110 yards on 15 carries and scored three touchdowns as R.A. Hubbard routed Vina.

The Chiefs (4-3, 3-2) jumped out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter. Owens got it rolling when he scored on a 2-yard run and added the first of his six extra point kicks. Blake Lipscomb added an 8-yard late in the first quarter to make it 14-0.

Owens added a 9-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter, followed by a 12-yard scoring run by Austin Beasley. The Chiefs found the end zone again with one second left in the half when Owens went in on a 4-yard run to put Hubbard up 35-0 at halftime.

Hubbard added a 34-yard touchdown run by Darrain Almon and a 4-yard pass from Chris Gilcrease to Deontae Carter in the third quarter to go up 48-0.

Texas Shelby capped the scoring for the Chiefs with a 6-yard run early in the third quarter.

Vina (0-7, 0-5) got a late touchdown on a 1-yard run by Cody Renfrow, who also ran for the 2-point conversion.
