Robber sticks up West Mart convenience store in Hartselle

Near 10:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, Hartselle Police responded to a report of robbery at West Mart convenience store, located at 1001 West Main Street.

A white male wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood and a white bandanna over his face, described as approximately 5’11” to 6 feet tall, weighing around 200 lbs, was armed with an knife and demanded money from the store clerk, HPD Lt. Justin Barley said.

The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Police are still investigating leads.
