This article should have been on the front page, ........... instead of dairy farmers and 9 pictures of cows and their farmers.

2nd in the nation, ( In my book, this is HUGE) instead, it got "B" page, 1 picture.

This valley, which is so proud of the technology here, wanting to attract new business, Calhoun and it's new robotics center(s),technology based businesses in the valley...... an opportunity to showcase future employees, not to mention schools that are suffering finacial cuts and the great teachers they employ.

This was a great chance for this newspaper to contribute to the community. IMO, The Daily dropped the ball. VERY disappointed, this newspaper decided to focus on a negative, than a positive.

Has any school function in Decatur finished so high in a NATIONAL competition ? ....................... If so, I probably missed it behind the obituaries
