This was the right thing for the Senate to do!

Now for the curriculum.

Tweak from 9 pages to 28 pages! Did not work with the State Board of Education nor with the state school superintendent, but give them the right to approve or disapprove changes that shows improved school performance! This looks like the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer! A tax break to move your child from a failing school to a school with passing scores which they can already do without the tax break! The rich need a tax break and the poor need gas to transport their child to another school! How about the Senate teaching school at the failing schools, for about a month and than go back write your 28 page Bill!

YEA. The right thing to do is LIE and DECEIVE people, like our Republican Majority House of Represenatives and Senators did. This is what is wrong with our state and our country. The biggest problem with SO CALLED FAILING SCHOOLS is that some students have sorry parents that give them no guidance in anything at all. How many of the students that have problems in school were ever read a book by a parent or helped with their homework. It all starts in the home, most teachers do the best they can with what they have to work with.
