it's bumpy, and with the curves it causes vehicles to lose traction.

I totally agree with Gary. the area is wuite abruptly bumpy and causes sudden jerks and changes in the vehicles tracking. This coupled with the curves could be the major contributing factors. I have noticed several areas where the highway is very suddenly sharply bumpy and can cause severe changes in the vehicles tracking. In Lacey's Spring the southbound lanes of 231 at the small bridges is very bumply and causes some of the same problems, but the roadway is basically straight. But I think ALDOT needs to address these types of areas.

The two curves in tha area are the real problem, coming or going down 65, You have to slow down there or you risk losing it. Poor road design.

...on a totally unrelated subject, Falkville Fire Department has a top notch extrication team, says Matt Stiles.

There's not a whole lot you can do there, but perhaps warning lights and bigger signs would help.

Place better guard rails so if you do have an accident you will not fly off the road.

That section of road has always made me nerves, bad road surface, curves and bridges all make it a bad area...I thought it was just me...
