A small tornado touched down in Athens and marched through Limestone County Friday, March 02, 2012. Greg Cook hands his dog Coco to Donnie Watts. Coco hid inside the destroyed home on Ennis Dr. and Cook located the dog unharmed except for a gash on the nose inside the structure.

HAVING BEEN THRU AN F2 IN 93 I CAN ASSURE ALL---THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SMALL TORNADO---THEY MAY NOT BE AS WIDE--AS LONG --AS FAST-- BUT THEY ARE NOT TO BE RECKONED WITH. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THEM ALL AND IM SO THANKFUL FOR THE SURVIVORS.
