Trinity Police Chief Chris McLemore will soon be patrolling the streets in a new vehicle.
The Trinity Town Council on Monday approved the low bid of $26,498 from Eddie Preuitt Ford of Hartselle for a 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle AWD.
Other bids came from John Carpenter Ford of Moulton, $26,508.74; Woody Anderson Ford of Huntsville, $26,682; Lynn Layton Ford of Decatur, $26,692; and Clint Brennen Motor of Unadilla, Ga., $27,092.
