In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, men, women and children of the Tennessee Valley took part in all sorts of activities. Thousands of adults toiled with an upbeat mood at their jobs, ranging from delivering goods to teaching and doing construction work to keeping parks in peak condition by rounding up the fallen leaves. Children ran, laughing and playing through it all, many involved in team sports, while parents and grandparents scampered up and down the field for the best vantage point — and cheered. The residents also paused to reflect about what they’re thankful for, the food they’ll select first from a Turkey Day feast and how they plan to give back during the holiday.

Glad to see so many unemployed people on this list still pressing forward. Don't give up fighting the fight!
