Some idiot ran into another house at this intersection about three years ago. The city needs to get about 5 ten-ton boulders and place them along the east side of Westmeade across from Auburn Dr so the goofballs will SLOW DOWN!!

Was probably on the phone when he hit it too...

I'm betting he was texting or something and ran straight through that stop sign. notice how the furn drive wheels are muddy but the back ones aren't? he was spinning them trying to back up. prob to "leave".

He could t have been texting, that's against the law here in Decatur.

To the ignorant people who posted comments, especially the man who said he was obviously texting and ran the stop sign and tried to flee the scene, this young man is actually staying with us. It was raining that morning, and he was breaking at the stop sign. because the road was slick, he hydroplaned and his breaks locked up. He tried to stop and ending up crashing. Instead of assuming that he was texting or anything illegal, maybe you can learn to feel compassion for people. He could have been seriously injured.

Camia you may be right he might have not be texting or anything illegal except for speeding if you are doing the speed limit in the neigborhood you not gonna hydroplane or slide through a stop sign jump a curb and slide another 30 ft to hit the house hope he learns from his mistakes and glad he wasnt hurt
