Seniors Hunter Newby from East Limestone High School and Ernie Rodriguez, from Ardmore High School both earned their certified volunteer fighter certification and successfully passed (CPAT) Candidate Physical Ability Test through the Limestone County Career Technical Center.

Newby and Rodriguez will receive recruit school scholarships from the Alabama Fire College to earn their Firefighter I & II certification.
