FALKVILLE — A wreck Saturday morning in Falkville left one person dead and multiple people injured, The Daily's news partner WAFF-48 reports.

Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn told the station a three vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 65 near mile marker 322. He said the crash involved two cars and a Lifeguard ambulance.

The Alabama Department of Transportation reported the wreck at 7:11 a.m. The interstate was reopened as of 10:30 a.m., according to Falkville Fire & Rescue.

Chunn said those injured were passengers in the two cars and no Lifeguard EMTs were injured. The injured were transported to Huntsville Hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
