There is no Johnson Street in Decatur, AL and there never has been. It's JOHNSTON Street, which terminates directly in front of the Decatur Daily's offices. You'd think someone who writes for the Decatur Daily would know this.

The old Decatur Utilities building was originally Albany City Hall and fire station. It was a historic building, but remodeled so many times it had nothing left of the original. Back when it was the Decatur Utilities headquarters, though, it did have a cool "TVA" look with terrazzo, marble and aluminum.
