AUBURN — There are those who will argue that Auburn maybe should not be 3-2 at the midway point of the season. Or the fact that it is has as much do with good fortune as anything.

The Auburn Tigers made mistakes Saturday, but thanks to some heroics from two of their most important players on offense, they survived for a 35-28 victory over Ole Miss. Here are three things we learned:

The drive that perhaps best sums up where Auburn football is on offense four weeks into the season came early in the fourth quarter last weekend, right after South Carolina extended its lead to 11 points.
