SCOTTSBORO — Ally Williams of Athens is tied for third after two rounds in the Alabama Girls State Junior Championship.

The Mississippi State signee shot 71 Tuesday to put her at even and four shots behind leader and defending champion Michaela Morad of Huntsville.

Morad, who is an Alabama commitment, will enter her senior year of high school in August.

Hartselle’s Jinger Heath is seven over and in 11th place. She will enter the ninth grade in August.
