The West Morgan girls picked up their 12th win of the soccer season Thursday with 3-1 win over Priceville.

Brandy Hernandez scored three goals. Helena Jankowski had an assist. Keeper Joseline Lopez had two saves.

West Morgan (12-2-2) hosts Lawrence County next Tuesday at the Jack Allen Recreation Center.



Priceville 9, Brewer 3: The Bulldogs used a four-run fifth inning to take control of the game. Destinee Hargrove singled and scored on Reagan Walter’s double. Two batters later, Taylor Dean hit a three-run home run to make it 7-3. In the sixth inning, Hargrove’s sacrifice fly and a home run from Walter made it 9-3.

Madisen Adams’ three-run home run in the top of the first gave Brewer the early lead. Abigail Watkins and Alana McDearmond each had two hits for the Patriots.

Abigail Garrison and Hannah Smyth had doubles for Priceville. Bentley Black went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Ashlyn McDonald was the winning pitcher.
